Teacher’s convention opens in Corozal
The thirty-fourth annual convention of the Belize National Teacher’s Union got underway today in Corozal. Among speakers appearing at the two-day event are Education Minister Francis Fonseca, Corozal Town Mayor Mario Narvaez, and B.N.T.U. President Anthony Fuentes. Union members from all ten branches were expected to attend. The theme for the convention is “B.N.T.U.: continuously educating self and others.”
