Police patrol fired on
A Guatemalan has been detained after police on patrol in the Chiquibul Forest Reserve reported being fired at. The officers were on patrol in the Las Cuevas area on April seventh and say four shots were fired at them from persons in the bush. They fired back and saw three people running away. The officers caught up with one of the men and discovered a nine-millimetre pistol and twelve rounds of ammunition on him.
