Student hit by stray bullet
Two people were hospitalised following a bar fight in Corozal on Saturday night. Winston Duheany, forty-six, is alleged to have gotten into an argument with other patrons at the Scorpion Bar and pulled out a firearm, firing a shot which hit a fifteen year old student who was passing outside at the time. Some of the customers in the bar then attacked Duheany beating him severely. Both Duheany and the student were transported to the Corozal hospital. Duheany was later transferred to the K.H.M.H. where he is in a stable condition, pending charges.
