C.E.O. of Corozal Free Zone Out
We can confirm tonight of a major change at the Commercial Free Zone in the north. On Monday, the Free Zone announced it was investing over two million dollars in infrastructure, but one man who will not see that development is Raul Rosado, the C.E.O., who is related to the former DPM Gaspar Vega. Since early this morning, reports were swirling of his abrupt departure from the post and there is rampant speculation as to why, including that it is related to the two million dollar project. But while we have been unable to confirm why he will be leaving the lucrative job in the next few weeks, Chairman Gregory Gibson would only say that Rosado, who has been the C.E.O. for the past eight years, is leaving for the private sector. Word to News Five is that the new man tapped for the job is reportedly U.D.P. Corozal South East caretaker Evan Cowo.
