Step-dads charged with rape
Reports of sexual assault continue to pour into police stations countrywide. In Corozal, a man has been arrested and charged for the rape and carnal knowledge of his twelve year old stepdaughter. The incident occurred in December.
In Dangriga another step-dad was booked on the same two charges following a report filed by a fourteen-year-old girl who told police she was forcibly raped by the accused in January.
And in Benque Viejo a suspect has been detained after a thirty-one year old woman complained that a man she knows grabbed her, took her to an open lot and had sex with her against her will.
