San Pedro Man Charged Over Unlicensed Nine-Millimeter Weapon

While Eastern Division South officers were able to remove two guns from the city streets; over on La Isla Bonita, San Pedro police were able to seize a nine millimeter pistol. According to police, around one-thirty this morning, a routine patrol stopped and searched Forest Newton Green near the Barry Bowen Bridge on the island. This afternoon, Green—a resident of the Boca Del Rio area who is no stranger to police—was arrested and charged for kept unlicensed firearm and ammo after a silver nine millimeter pistol with four live rounds were found on him.
