Minors Tangle Over Female; Stabbing Victim Critical in Hospital

A love triangle among teenagers in the city turns sour and leaves a seventeen-year-old hospitalized in a critical condition at the K.H.M.H. tonight. Kenroy Daly was badly beaten and stabbed by another teen on Friday night near the corner of Central American Boulevard and Raccoon Street. Daly was rushed to the hospital. Police have since arrested the perpetrator and it is alleged that the attack was because of a girl. Assistant Commissioner of Police Chester Williams of the Eastern Division South tells us more:

“On Friday night some time after eleven pm, the police received some information of a male person who was seen lying down on the street in the area of Raccoon Street and Boulevard. Police responded and upon arrival, they found the person to be one Kenroy Daly, a seventeen year old. He appeared to have been severely beaten and stabbed. He was rushed to the KHMH by the police. He is currently admitted in a critical and stable condition. We are hoping for his full recovery. Police investigation has so far lead to the arrest of a sixteen year old. In respect to that matter, he was charged with attempted murder and dangerous harm.”

“Sir, was the victim able to provide that information or was that from outside sources?”

“Well, like I said the victim is in a critical but stable condition. So far, the police have not been able to ascertain from the victim what transpired. But we were able to, through our investigation, gather statements from the people who were around and it is on that basis that we were able to make an arrest on that matter.”

“Well, from our investigation without going into too much details, it would appear that the issue was over a female.”
