Woman Dies Suddenly in San Pedro Town

On Monday night, police were called out to an area in San Pedro where the lifeless body of a woman was found face down on the pavement. An investigation was immediately launched and surveillance video captured the woman moments before she collapsed on a street in the DFC area. Today, police told the media that the incident was a case of sudden death.

“Two nights ago a female was found lying in the middle of the road in the DFC area; she was apparently dead. We have since launched an investigation into that matter and we did a postmortem yesterday. The postmortem revealed that she had massive swelling to the brain and as a result of the swelling; it caused the blood to rush to her heart which results in a clot.  So that’s the cause of death and w saw no signs of foul play on the body.”
