Drugs and a Gun Come Off Rural Eastern Division Streets

The Eastern Division Rural formation removed a firearm and drugs off the streets. Their latest find took place on Thursday night in a remote section of the Philip Goldson Highway. Officer Commanding Ladyville Police, Assistant Superintendent Juanito Cocom explains where the items were found.

“On Thursday, twenty-seventh October at about eleven thirty p.m., members of the Rural Rapid Response Team, acting on information, visited an area between Mile sixteen and seventeen, where they recovered a package containing seven hundred and sixty two grams of suspected cannabis, compressed, and a point thirty eight revolver, Yama Brand. Items were deposited as found property.”
