Butane prices drop by $5
They say that what goes up must come down… and while the laws of gravity do not apply to fuel prices, consumers should be relieved to know that, for this week at least, a large tank of butane will cost five dollars less. A government release today announced that as of March fourth the price of a hundred pound cylinder will be seventy-two dollars in Belize City, seventy-four in Belmopan, seventy-five in San Ignacio, seventy-six in Benque, seventy-one in Orange Walk and Corozal, sixty-nine in Dangriga, and seventy in Punta Gorda. The controlled price of butane fluctuates with acquisition costs in Mexico and Guatemala.
