J.L.’s Quick Loan donates to P.C. Jacobs fund
A businessman has donated towards the recovery of a wounded police officer. Today Maurice Underwood of J.L.’s Quick Loan in Belize City, presented a check for one thousand five hundred dollars towards the fund for P.C. Kevin Jacobs who was shot in the head during a shootout with Guatemalan bandits in the Cayo District a couple of weeks ago. P.C. Jacobs is being treated in Merida. Underwood told A.C.P. Maureen Leslie that the police are extremely valuable to business owners like himself, and in fact to all Belizeans.
