Honduran seeks missing relatives
A desperate family from Honduras is searching for their loved ones, missing now for more than a year. Fifty-four year old Edgardo Criveli, thirty-eight year old Juan Criveli, thirty-eight year old Juan Carlos David Lopez, ten year old Edgardo Munoz Criveli, and ten year old Juan Alberto Criveli left Omoa Bay in a small fishing vessel on December twenty-ninth, 2002, and haven’t been seen or heard from since. Their family has not given up hope and this afternoon Kayleen Criveli visited our studios to ask anyone who might have information on where her father, son, and cousins are to help her end the search one way or the other.
Kayleen Criveli, Searching for Missing Relatives
“They left on the twenty-ninth of December from home on a fishing trip because their cousin from Mexico were visiting and he wanted to teach his son how to fish. When they left that day, they never returned. From the time they left at seven am that morning, we haven’t heard anything.”
“We are hoping that they are alive, we’ve been waiting for a year and we will continue waiting. We will go look for them wherever they are and we thought maybe they might be here, close to Honduras.”
