More Arrests for Conch Shell Bay Beating Incident

Patricia Rhaburn

The family of two-year-old Kaylee Alvarez is still grieving the tragic loss of the toddler who perished during a deadly house fire in Conch Shell Bay in October.  Her grief-stricken relatives are also facing criminal charges, following a vicious on twenty-year-old Richie Rich Jones.  The Conch Shell Bay resident was attacked and badly beaten by a trio of persons in the wake of the tragedy.  This afternoon, twenty-two-year-old Patricia Rhaburn appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Deborah Rogers.  She was arraigned on two counts, one for deadly use of harm and the other for dangerous harm.  No plea was taken and neither was bail granted.  Rhaburn joins twenty-eight-year-old Brian Welch and twenty-three-year-old Nickesha Rhaburn on remand at the Belize Central Prison.  The trio returns to court on December ninth.
