Teenager Kentroy McKoy Survives Gun Attack in Belize City
Eighteen-year-old Kentroy McKoy is lucky to have escaped grave injuries during an armed assault on Wednesday night in Belize City. The shooting occurred in the vicinity of Pinks Alley where McKoy was reportedly socializing with several others. A lone gunman emerged on the scene and opened fire, hitting McKoy in the right foot. According to a statement provided to investigating officers at the Eastern Division North Precinct, a total of three shots were fired in McKoy’s direction. He was immediately rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and has since been treated and released. An investigation into the latest Belize City shooting is ongoing.
