The Greatest Hits from Adopted Parandero Aurelio Martinez

Paranda artist Aurelio Martinez is well-known internationally for promoting the Garifuna culture through music.  The Honduras-born artist has spent considerable time in Belize, performing on our stages and working with several Belizean artists and recording previous albums with Stonetree Studios. He has reached a milestone in his career with thirty years in the business and he is commemorating those years with a special album called Darandi. It is a collection of Aurelio’s favorite songs and biggest hits from his career. In an interview with Real World Studios, Martinez says that the album closes a cycle in his career which represents thirty years of composing and performing paranda music.
