Patchakan suicide under investigation
Corozal police are investigating an alleged case of suicide in Patchakan Village on Saturday. Veronica Campos told police that she and her husband Humberto were at her father’s home when Humberto put a sixteen gauge shotgun to his chest and pulled the trigger. He was taken to the Corozal Hospital, but pronounced dead on arrival. Police recovered the shotgun and expended shell and are investigating the circumstances of the death.
