Teen shot by brother
A fifteen-year-old boy has been hospitalised after he was shot in the chest at a house in Eden’s Alley over the weekend. The incident occurred right behind the Queen’s Street police station just after midnight on Sunday morning. Upon hearing the shot, officers on duty jumped the fence, entered the house, and discovered Edwin Flores lying wounded on the couch. He was transported to the K.H.M.H. and his eighteen-year-old brother, Jeremy Rhaburn, was taken into custody. Investigations so far indicate that Rhaburn had been playing with a gun, pointed it at Flores, and fired a single shot. Rhaburn is expected to be charged with attempted murder. In addition, the gun recovered at the scene, a nine-millimetre pistol, has been identified as one stolen during a robbery on Queen Charlotte Street and he could face additional charges in connection with that incident.
