Police Tight-lipped on Planned Arrests for Libertad Murder
While we were up north, we got an update on the November fifteenth murder of twenty-two year old Sherman McFarlane, who was ambushed and shot dead in Libertad village after stopping in with friends late that night. Police believe it stemmed from a prior argument. Now, according to the lead officer of Corozal Police Formation, arrests are imminent – but the details are a trade secret for now.

“Sir, what can you share with us about the persons you intend to charge for the Libertad murder? What certainties can you share with us as to how you have progressed to this point?”
Sr. Supt. Dennis Arnold, O.C. Corozal Police Formation
“Well I prefer not to say, right; all I can say is that it’s an eyewitness. That’s all I can say.”
Reporter
“Are the suspects in that murder from Libertad or Corozal Town?”
Sr. Supt. Dennis Arnold
“I’d rather not say either; but as soon as we lay charges you guys can come back and I will lay out the details for you.”
