Fatal shooting rocks North Creek
A twenty-three year old Belize City man was gunned down this afternoon as he sat in front of a house in the North Creek area. Police say Kareem Broaster, a resident of Belama Phase One, was shot in the head and also sustained injuries to his body from the weapon of the gunman who police say just walked up to the youth and fired. Broaster died shortly after arriving at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. No motive for the shooting has yet been determined, but police are looking for one Darrington Lauriano whom they believe may be able to assist them in their investigation.
