Two city men were quickly apprehended in a drug bust over the weekend after one got nervous and told the cops where the drug was hidden. The duo of Dean Cain and Alston Adolphus was arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court on a charge of drug trafficking of nine pounds of cannabis earlier today. Both Cain and Adolphus pleaded not guilty and were able to meet bail of six thousand dollars each and are due back in Court on February twenty-third, 2017. The bust was carried out by the G.S.U. on Friday, when a police unit led by Officer Sergeant Samuel Bonilla was conducting operations in the Ladyville area of the Phillip Goldson Highway. Police followed up on a tip and pulled over a vehicle and while they did not initially find the drug one of the occupants admitted it was stashed in the tire of the vehicle which police proceeded to search and found the drug.
