Butane prices up by $4/100 lbs
And while scientists and economists discuss the feasibility of ethanol, Belizean consumers are once again being forced to pay higher prices for fossil fuels. A government release informs us that as of today increased acquisition costs for imported butane have resulted in a four dollar increase in the control price of a hundred pound cylinder. New prices are seventy-one dollars for Belize City, seventy-three dollars for Belmopan, seventy-four in San Ignacio, seventy-five in Benque, seventy in Orange Walk, Corozal, and Dangriga, and seventy-one in Punta Gorda.
