Frank Young Charged in Murder of David Andrews
Eastern Division South police have arrested and charged twenty-year-old Frank Young for the murder of nineteen-year-old David Andrews. Andrews was shot dead on Raccoon Street a week ago tonight, after receiving a phone call and going to meet a friend around the corner from where his mother was a food vendor on Central American Boulevard. He had been threatened before but family members said he did not take it seriously and denied causing harm to anyone. While police did not offer clues as how to they caught their man, Eastern Division South commander ACP Chester Williams said they are certain that they have the right man.

“In respect to the murder of Mister David Andrews, we are hopeful that we will be making an arrest by the end of the day, today. We have a suspect in custody, and we are just awaiting the identification parade to be done, and once that is done, then he should be charged, because we are certain that he is the person who did it.”
Family and friends laid Andrews to rest today following funeral services at St. Ignatius R.C. Church.
