Stolen cars recovered

Two stolen vehicles have been recovered and a young man arrested, thanks to information supplied by members of the public. Police say a fourteen year old of Matron Roberts Street was charged today with theft, handling stolen goods, driving without a license, and driving a vehicle not covered by third party insurance following the theft of a 1985 car belonging to Mac Alamilla. The vehicle was taken from in front of Alamilla’s home on Landivar Street Monday night. It was found on Tuesday in good condition. A 1988 Hyundai, belonging to taxi driver John Miller has also been recovered after it was abandoned and its stereo stolen. So far, no arrest has been made in that case.
