Taiwan contributes to police communications
Even the harshest critics of the Police Department would have to admit that, thanks to a new fleet of vehicle and improved radios, the response time to crime reports has improved dramatically. And that trend should continue with a grant from the Republic of China on Taiwan. The sixteen thousand, three hundred and sixty U.S. dollar donation, presented today by Ambassador Charles Tsai to Home Affairs Minister Ralph Fonseca, is earmarked for further improvement of the police communications network.
