Da’ville to Rock B.T.L. Park for Third Anniversary of Remodeling
There is an activity to look forward to this weekend. Jamaican artist Da’ville touched down in Belize on Thursday as the featured artist for a concert this Saturday at the B.T.L. Park to mark the three-year anniversary since the public space was renovated by the Belize City Council. The event will also feature a lineup of Belizean artists. Since the revamping of the park, it has been used for everything, from concerts to fitness training, and has been the venue of choice for families on weekends. Moments after he arrived in the Jewel, Da’ville came to News Five’s studios to invite everyone out for a night of love.
Da’ville, Jamaican Artist
“I was in Belize many years ago and as usual, I always wanted to come back. This is my third time; first time was me and Baby Cham, second time was me and Bounty Killer and this time around it is a different energy. People always show me so much love so Belize has always been one of those special places in my thoughts. When I remember the many places I’ve been around the world, this is definitely one of my favorite. Well it is all about the enjoyment. I love to get up close and personal with the fans and just give them a hundred and fifty percent of Da’ville, of my music. Just come out and expect the best from Da’ville. We are dealing with sexiness. It’s musical level…gonna sing some of the hit songs for the people along with new material and other vibe. My very first hit song was produced by me when I song, “Baby Your All that I want when you are lying here in my arms.” I just loved the song and decided that I want to do a reggae version and I decided to produce it myself and when I did, it because the song that broke me out into the mainstream of things. And then I went back to the studio and said, “I’ve made a change for you oh and this time I promise.” And, “Can’t get over you…always on my…” All those songs were produced by me and I also produced for other people as well. My albums were produced by me. But it is something that was instilled in me from a younger age; my father was a producer and also an artist himself. Belize you know I have been thinking about you for so long I’ve missed you. And baby ever since that day you went away, I can’t live without you. Hey Belize you know you are always on my mind…see it there. Mad.”
