3 P.G. cops accused of child rape

Last month Punta Gorda achieved the dubious distinction of being ground zero in what was feverishly described by authorities as an international child porno ring. Well, tonight it seems that not all accused child molesters in Toledo are middle aged Americans. Police have confirmed to News 5 that three police officers stationed in Punta Gorda are being investigated for the rape of two teenaged girls, one believed to be thirteen and the other fourteen. The three Corporals: Alfaro Bol, Everon Teck, and Matius Chalom, are believed to have engaged in sexual relations with the girls over a period of several months, with the latest incident taking place on November thirteenth. Charges of unlawful carnal knowledge are expected to be filed as early as the end of the week…but there may be more arrests in the offing, as sources in P.G. tell us that the two teenagers have in fact been encouraged to engage in the sex trade by the proprietors of a well-known local nightspot. The case was originally being investigated by the Human Development Department, but police were recently brought in, with Senior Superintendent Eduardo Wade being sent down to lead the inquiry. The newly enacted legislation against human trafficking is once again expected to come into play. Bol, Teck, and Chalom have not yet been interdicted from duty, but most likely will be once criminal charges are filed.
