Corozal man dead in road mishap
A man from the Corozal District is dead following a traffic accident this morning on the Northern Highway. Twenty-nine year old Harish Mirpuri of Santa Rita was travelling south towards Orange Walk when between miles seventy-four and seventy-five he lost control of his Ford Ranger pickup. The vehicle rolled over several times and Mirpuri was dead on arrival at Northern Regional Hospital. Police note that less than a month ago the deceased had been charged for drunk driving.
