No Love: Manslaughter Charges for Woman After Partner Died Following Valentine’s Spat
A woman is in police custody tonight pending charges, following the death of her common-law-husband forty-six-year-old Eric Kent Moses. It is expected that Genevia Christine Estrada will be charged with manslaughter after being apprehended today. Police investigation into the incident led them to Victoria Street where witnesses said that the couple was drinking at their home on Valentine’s Day when the woman allegedly pushed him down the stairway during a domestic dispute. As a result of the fall, Moses suffered serious injuries to the head and was hospitalized at the K.H.M.H. His condition took a turn for the worse and he passed away on Tuesday night. Last Friday, Estrada was arrested and charged with dangerous harm in connection with this incident, but since Moses died, it is expected that she will appear in court on Thursday for that charge to be upgraded to manslaughter.
