Cemetery Road slasher gets 4 years
He attacked an innocent woman at her Cemetery Road home and took a bullet in the stomach from a neighbourhood Good Samaritan. Today, twenty-two year old Leo Grant was hit by another projectile, this one fired in Magistrate’s Court, where he received a four-year prison sentence for assault. Grant was also charged with burglary, but that matter will be dealt with later. Grant beat up Carla Sanchez on November fifth after she allegedly denied his request for some food. He was shot by alert neighbour Kareem Espat, using his licensed handgun and later found wounded by police.
