Basketballers finished third, not fourth
And in a correction to an item in yesterday’s Sports Monday, Belize’s under twenty-two national basketball team finished third out of four teams in last week’s Central American invitational tournament, not fourth as reported by sportscaster James Adderley. El Salvador was the only team that Belize beat, which we did twice, while we were defeated by Nicaragua once and Guatemala two times. James apologizes to players and fans for the inadvertent error.
