Gospel Fest in Belmopan promises “Positive” clean fun

If you’re looking for some clean entertainment this weekend, head west to Belmopan for the Annual Gospel Fest at the Showgrounds. It’s a time for the Christian family of Belize to come together for healing, worship and prayer and spreading the Gospel among youth. For the evening concert, the headline artist is Trinidad and Tobago’s Joel Murray, also known as “Positive.” He’s recently won some awards and has a following in the niche genre. He stopped by News Five this afternoon with promoter Kerm Thimbriel to make a special invitation.

“The number one style of music that we have is Gospel Reggae; it really is a Caribbean brand of Reggae Music that speaks about Christianity that speaks about people and lift them higher. We just had the Marlon Awards were my latest album would have won Album of the Year and we have Song of the Year for a song called Mighty Healer. So the music itself have been really appreciated. We just did an event in St, Croix with Israel Hoton so there is a place right now where Caribbean gospel has been going up the ladder in terms of popularity and you know it I being received worldwide. OS I am just going to be there ready and with so much energy and inspiration just to come to give to all the young people in Belize. Tomorrow night it’s on in Belmopan this is yours truly Positive and remember I am looking forward to see all of my Belize family. Make sure you guys come out. See you soon. Blessings. Love you.”
