Two detained for banana farm murder
Two men have been detained for questioning following the discovery of a body in the Stann Creek District. On Tuesday morning police were called to Banana farm number fifteen where they found the badly decomposed corpse, which displayed chop wounds to the neck, face and hands. It was later identified as fifty-year-old Domingo Ordoñez, a Guatemalan labourer who worked at that farm. According to police, Ordoñez was last seen at four o’clock Friday afternoon when he left his house on a bicycle.
