New charge against accused U.S. child molester

They say when it rains, it pours. But for U.S. national Dennis Bruce, the weather outside his prison cell in Punta Gorda is the least of his worries, as a second charge of indecent assault has been brought against him. Already in custody after he could not post ten thousand dollars bail plus a surety of the same amount, Bruce will remain in the P.G. lockup at least until Tuesday when he will be taken before a travelling Magistrate. The forty-five year old businessman was arrested in a police raid of his home last Friday, following reports of his involvement in suspicious activities involving children. He was initially charged with one count of indecent assault and one count of carnal knowledge and ordered to reappear in court on December eighth. A second U.S. citizen charged in the same operation, sixty-one year old Amos Capps, is out on bail, accused of indecent assault of a minor.
