Safiyyah’s got hot spots for weekend entertainment
The weekend is upon us and there is a whole lot to look out for. Saffiyah has a new look and she has been scouting around and has a list of fun things to do…
Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize and welcome to my new set.
This weekend in Orange Walk the IT-VET will be having their first annual fair. This fun-filled event will be held on Saturday on the school campus and will run four p.m. until. There will be lots of food, drinks and games. And the dance will begin at eight p.m. on the same campus Featuring DJ Bush. They will have free buses running from various parts of the city to the campus so there’s no excuse not to go out and enjoy the fun.
Do you like volleyball? Well, the Belize volley ball association is inviting anyone between the ages of twelve and nineteenth that would like to get involved in a camp for the sport to come out this Saturday. You can go out at ten a.m. to the Belize City center and learn what it’s all about or you can call 223-1702.
And also this Saturday we, here at Channel Five will be having another round of try-outs for Duets inside the Bliss round room. These auditions will be held from nine a.m. until three p.m. So if you and a partner feel like you’ve got what it takes, then come out and be a part of the biggest show filled with the most talented people in Belize.
Next week Saturday the Belize Audubon Society will be celebrating their fortieth anniversary next week with a huge dancing and dining with nature night being held inside the Biltmore Plaza. This night will feature eco-fashion designs and modeling. There are still tickets on sale at the Belize Audubon Society office. I will give you more info on the event next week.
Next week Sunday all the SJCJC Alumnae are invited to a Family fun day to be held at the SJC gymnasium. The fun will begin at nine a.m. until three p.m. There will be delicious food on sale as well as lots cool beverages. There will also be different games that the entire family can get involved in. So go and check out the Family Fun Day on Sunday the twenty-first.
Ok guys, I told you this summer would be full of fun and I’d be traveling all over the country to bring you the best places to hang out this summer. So, check this out One Hot Summer!
