Scotia Bank Plans Relief Drive for Majestic Alley Families

Elio Cabanas

On Wednesday you saw the families affected by the Majestic Alley fire collect their cook tops and other donations to help them rebuild, in the wake of Friday’s inferno.  Businesses and other local organizations have been teaming up with CEMO to assist the over fifty victims, who lost all their belongings in the mid-afternoon blaze that gutted two houses and an apartment complex.  Today, Scotia Bank launched their own initiative to help the residents who have been displaced.  Elio Cabanas tells us more.

Elio Cabanas, Marketing Manager, Scotia Bank

“Today we are launching another initiative whereby we are reaching out to our staff and customers to bring in clothing items, household items, to support our fire relief drive that we have at Scotia Bank. This will be happening for an entire week and this is another way that we are giving back to the community, so it doesn’t end here.”
