Assistant Compol hosts community meeting
Residents of the Lake Independence area of Belize City who are concerned about crime have a chance tonight to make their voices heard. Beginning at seven, Assistant Commissioner of Police Maureen Leslie, Officer in Charge of Eastern Division, will chair a community meeting at which citizens can share their worries and offer suggestions to make their neighbourhood safer. Venue for the get together is Sadie Vernon High School on Mahogany Street.
