Worker falls 2 stories at Bliss
Bad luck has once again struck the re-building of the Bliss Institute. Less than four months after a falling scaffold killed a construction supervisor, a workman had to be rushed to the hospital this morning after falling two stories from an interior catwalk. According to a spokesman for the Mexican contractor, Delta Construction, thirty-one year old Manuel Fregos was doing an electrical installation in the building’s ceiling when he fell between two planks of the catwalk. Fortunately, Fregos was wearing safety equipment and only broke his left hand. On June fourteenth supervisor Crecenciano Zaruat lost his life when a forty-foot high piece of scaffolding fell on top of him. The Bliss project is slated for completion in two months time.
