One more handgun off the street
In crime news, the crackdown on illegal firearms continues as police confiscated an unlicensed handgun in Belize City. The nine-millimetre Glock nineteen pistol, along with nine bullets, was found Monday night around nine-thirty at a house on Unity Street. Thirty-six year old Alexander Torres, twenty-seven year old Sheryl Brown and forty-three year old Egbert Brown were arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
