Police back in Conch Shell Bay for Meet and Greet
A family day for residents of the embattled Conch Shell Bay community is being organized by the Belize Police Department. The event is set to take place this Sunday in Lindo’s Alley and promises to bring together everyone in the riverside neighborhood. This afternoon, a team of officers, led by A.C.P. Chester Williams, visited the area for their weekly Meet and Greet session which doubled as an invitation for residents to participate.
ACP Chester Williams, Regional Commander, Eastern Division South
“Conch Shell Bay right now is key because we are planning a family day for Conch Shell Bay area this coming Sunday. So while we do meet and greets we are also notifying people in the area of our intention to have a family day this coming Sunday, as we would want them to come out and have fun. That would be the young, the old and everyone to come and participate in the family day this coming Sunday.”

“Now in terms of some of the activities that will be taking place, can you speak to some of that?”
Chester Williams
“Yes, we will be having basketball games and we’ll be having games for the kids, like for example we will be having watermelon eating contest, balloon toss, musical chairs, lime and spoon. We want to be able to entertain everyone who comes out and want to be a part of that day’s event.”
