Investigation into death of toddler complete

We have been unable to confirm from the Ministry of Health, but Andy Jones the husband of Cenaida Reymundo, says in an email to Channel Five, that the ministry has completed an investigation into the death of their newborn. On May eleventh, Cenaida delivered her own baby at the Punta Gorda Polyclinic without the aid of nurses or doctors, despite her cries for help. The infant died eight days later on May nineteenth. In the email, Jones says “This so called investigation revealed that my wife was not at fault for the death of her own child… Next they have also come to the conclusion that my wife had a spontaneous delivery… So now they mention being short staffed. Well I wish they would have told me that when I entered the hospital. You see I love my wife and guarantee you I would have found her a midwife or even a veterinarian to help deliver her baby… I Andy Jones and Wife Cenaida Reymundo along with my two year old daughter are asking for an independent investigation into this matter.” Andy Jones and Cenaida Reymundo are being granted their wish as the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has started its independent investigation into the death of Reymundo’s newborn.
