B.T.L. awards 15 high school scholarships
This afternoon, fifteen students from primary schools across the country were awarded four-year scholarships to attend the high school of their choice. The assistance is part of B.T.L.’s high school scholarship programme and covers tuition, fees and books, as well as any guidance and tutoring that may be required. Recipients were chosen based on financial need, academic performance and ambition. During ceremonies held today in Belize City, the students also received certificates of merit. Speaking on behalf of her peers, scholarship recipient Marla Magaña says the achievement is a milestone in all their young lives.
