Loaded Tech-nine seized by cops
One high-powered firearm, not shown by Reid, is nonetheless off the street–not the result of any gun amnesty–just aggressive police work. On Thursday cops found a loaded tech nine automatic along with a half-ounce of crack cocaine during a vehicle search. The driver of the Nissan Stanza, twenty-three year old Trevor Smith, was taken into custody, but on the way to the station jumped out of the police vehicle. Smith, of Faber’s Road in Belize City, was quickly rounded up and has been charged with keeping a prohibited firearm and unlicensed ammunition, drug trafficking and escaping from police custody.
