Owner of Twins’ Supermarket Robbed at Home

On Saturday evening, police responded to a report of a robbery at Twins Supermarket on Saint Thomas Street in north side Belize City. Today, it was business as usual at the establishment, but business owner forty-two-year-old Quan Pan Chan says that just after four p.m. on Saturday while he was on the second floor of the building adjacent to his residence, he was approached by a gunman who pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him. The perpetrator instructed him to get on the floor before escaping with his I-phone six valued at one thousand six hundred dollars and a thousand dollars in cash. Investigations continue.
