Correction: T-Dog found innocent of prison killing
And a correction to a crime story we broadcast yesterday… In reporting on the arrest and charging of Mark “T-Dog” Stuart for the murder of Dean Belisle, we offered a brief history of Stuart’s previous run-ins with the law. Regarding his trial for the killing of his Hattieville cellmate, Husmani Guerra, we said charges were eventually dropped in that case because no witnesses could be coaxed into testifying. In fact, two witnesses did present evidence in the trial, but T-Dog was nonetheless found not guilty by a jury. News 5 regrets the inaccuracy.
