Price of fuel goes up…

You will know by now that a spike in the prices of fuel at the gas pumps was sneaked in on Sunday night. Premium gasoline made the biggest jump by almost a dollar and is now selling at eight dollars and sixty-one cents, above a promised threshold of seven dollars. In the last budget debate, Prime Minister Dean Barrow said:

“The increase we are proposing is only one dollar per gallon on gasolines and diesel. This amounts to less than one half of the taxes that were removed over the last year alone. It will still keep diesel at below the six dollars per gallon mark, and gasoline at below seven dollars per gallon mark.”
