Same for pair accused in San Pedro killing

This afternoon, two suspects police believe were involved in the murder of twenty-five year old Kenneth Swazo on Tuesday night in San Pedro Town were transported by boat to Belize City. San Pedro police strongly believe twenty-three year old Nathaniel Forman of Belize City and eighteen year old Alejandro Edwards of San Pedro were the men who held up an American couple at gun point inside their home. Staying at the house at the time were Garson and Kenneth Swazo. The brothers were awakened by the noise and after they came upon the intruders an argument started. It is then that one of the suspects shot Swazo in his head. Authorities believe the crime started out as a burglary. Today Forman and Edwards were charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and aggravated burglary. Both men have been remanded to Hattieville prison.
