2 Charged for gas station attendant murder

Story Picture
A pair of Belize City bandits turned murderers have been captured by police. According to the cops, twenty-four year old Egbert Meyers and twenty-two year old Herman “Yagga” Morris, are the duo who murdered gas station attendant Robert Stephens Lino. Morris and Meyers did their best to conceal their faces when they were taken over to Magistrate Court today, colliding with a pedestrian and court security guard in their haste to get inside the building. Belize City police say that on the night of July first, both men planned and boldly carried out the cold bloodied crime at the Texaco gas station at the corner of Cemetery Road and Central American Boulevard. Meyers, who is believed to be the triggerman, has been charged with murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit murder, while Morris has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit murder. Robert Lino and another gas station employee were shot several times during the robbery. Lino was pronounced dead on arrival at the K.H.M.H., while his co-worker continues to recover from injuries to his arm.
