Orange Walk Farmer Hit by Break-In at Farm
An elderly farmer has been robbed of an assortment of items worth more than forty thousand dollars. Eighty-one-year-old Douglas Own Fox resides in San Estevan, Orange Walk District but his papaya farm is located off the Northern Highway in the village of Carmelita. On Wednesday morning, Fox went to his farm only to find out that building material, electrical items and other items had been stolen by thieves. Orange Walk police are investigating.
