City grocer robbed at gunpoint
In other crime news a Belize City grocer was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday afternoon. Twenty-nine year old Zhi Xin Li told police that around one p.m. two dark skinned man entered his shop on Teacher’s Street, pointed a small gun in his direction and relieved him of three hundred and fifty dollars along with two tins of baby cereal. The pair then mounted bicycles and rode off toward the Northern Highway. No suspects have yet been detained.
