Ladyville jacking suspect charged with robbery
His name went public last week after an attempt to arrest him was followed by a near riot in which an innocent motorist was fatally shot by police. But today Michael Arnold had his day in court…not for what went on the night of the shooting, but for a jacking he allegedly committed last night. Arnold was charged today in Magistrate’s Court with robbery, accused of stealing a chain from a seventeen year old boy in Ladyville. This time there was no riot as according to reports, police acted decisively and in force while affecting the arrest.
